N-Vision collectionStore Collection – Sainsburys

Our volunteers will be holding two collection days at the Sainsbury’s store in St Annes on Friday 7th July and Saturday 8th July. If you are shopping in store on those days please come along and say hello to our volunteers. You will see our large N-Vision banner so you can’t miss us, we’ll be delighted to meet you.

We will be in store from 9.30am to 5.30pm each day.

7Simply Synapptic User Group Dates

Three dates for your diary!

The Simply Synapptic User Group will be held on Thursday 22nd June, Thursday 20th July and Thursday 17th August.

Come along to share your knowledge and learn from each other at our Simply Synapptic User Group.

A great opportunity to share ideas and tips with other Synapptic users, and of course Brian will be on hand to offer support and guidance.

These meetings will be held in the Low Vision Centre between 10.30am to 12.30pm.

It will be all white on the night!!

towerIt will be all white on the night for Blackpool Tower on the 8th June. The Tower is marking the 40th anniversary of our Talking Newspaper.

The Tower will light up white to mark this milestone for the weekly news “paper” recorded by volunteers at N-Vision, the Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre Society for the Blind.

Talking News 40th Anniversary Celebrations

The 40th anniversary of our Talking Newspaper will be celebrated with two days of special events and awareness raising over 29th & 30th June. Included in these events will be a wonderful flower festival.

We will be focussing on the Talking Newspaper but will also embrace all elements of the charity’s work and the society’s Princess Alexandra Home.

A Great Afternoon Out With AKS

Summer Fair AKS

Car Fest and Summer Fair to be held at AKS Lytham Independent School on 2nd July between 1pm and 4pm. Everybody welcome and if you have your own remote control car, bring it along to race on the specially made track.
