N-Vision is supporting National Eye Health Week (Sept 24-30) the annual campaign to raise awareness of the importance of lifestyle changes to support good eye health, and the need for regular eye tests – regardless of whether or not you think your vision is reducing. Eye tests, as our eye clinic liaison officer Linda Sethi stresses, can detect many underlying conditions of real significance to your general health – as well as your vision. Linda, and specialist medics, have been raising awareness with a public information display, and opoortunity learn more, at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. Meantime, our PR has featured three of our
inspirational ‘family’, Johnny Gardener of the Talking Newspaper, and volunteers Osborne and June McLaughlin. The links to that coverage are here: https://www.entirelycharity.com/news/northwest/lancashire/the-eyes-have-it-n-vision-nw-on-why-it-39-s-important-to-book-those-eye-tests3108 and on her blog http://www.janarchy.co.uk/insight-what-sight-loss-really-means-national-eye-health-week-at-n-vision . They have also been featured extensively on social media platforms. Hopefully, there’s more to come from the Press.
