Earlier this week, David enjoyed a special trip to the IMAX cinema to experience the Oasis documentary – and it certainly sounds like he had a wonderwall of a time!
David hasn’t been to the cinema for many, many years, so he was amazed by the modern facilities and the fantastic comfort of the IMAX seating. He particularly enjoyed being able to sit back, relax and take in the incredible sound experience.
David was also offered a headset which could have been used to provide additional description and explain what was happening on screen. As the documentary was mainly music and talking rather than acting, David decided he didn’t need to use it – he was more than happy simply enjoying the music and atmosphere – I guess you could say he “rolled with it”!
It sounds like the experience has definitely opened the door to more music-themed cinema showings in the future… maybe!
A big thank you to Ruth for taking David along and helping him enjoy a fantastic day out.
Who knows, David – some might say perhaps there’ll be plenty more musical trips to come!

The photograph shows David sitting comfortably in a large, modern IMAX cinema seat. He is smiling for the camera and wearing glasses and a striped shirt, with his white cane resting beside him. Rows of spacious reclining cinema seats can be seen around him, highlighting the comfortable and modern surroundings he enjoyed during his visit.
