Our 3 Piers event made it to the front page of the Blackpool Gazette (OK, it was only a p1 taster!) and was the cover picture (the Beaverbrooks Gems Talking Newspaper team) for the weekly FYI community supplement together with a two page picture special featuring some of our walkers, runners. – including four legged friends and little Leo Drinkwater, the youngest participant at just two years old .. bar a baby in a pram! Pride of place to Martyn Coyne and that impressive £1328 cheque for his London Marathon fundraising epic endeavour!
