Discover the Possibilities of Smart Glasses at N-Vision

Special Technology Session for N-Vision Clients

Technology is constantly changing, and new developments are creating exciting opportunities for people living with sight loss to become more independent in their everyday lives.

N-Vision is pleased to welcome a team from Vision Express to Sharples Hall Activity Centre for a special technology session focusing on the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.

Session Details

Date: Wednesday 9th September
Time: 2:00pm – 3:30pm
Location: Sharples Hall Activity Centre, Bosworth Place, Blackpool

What Can Smart Glasses Do?

The Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses combine the appearance of traditional glasses with built-in technology and smart features.

During the session, the Vision Express team will demonstrate the glasses and explain how they work, giving N-Vision clients the opportunity to discover how this technology could potentially support them in their everyday lives.

The session will explore some of the features available, including the ability to:

  • Take photographs and videos.
  • Make calls and communicate with others.
  • Listen to music and other audio.
  • Access information using the glasses’ smart features.
  • Interact with technology using voice commands.

The session is a chance to see the technology in action and consider how developments such as smart glasses could support independence for people living with sight loss.

Come Along and Find Out More

You don’t need to be a technology expert, and there is no need to have any previous experience with smart glasses.

The session will provide an opportunity to see the technology for yourself, ask questions and find out more directly from the Vision Express team.

Whether you’re already interested in assistive technology or you’re simply curious about what smart glasses can do, we’d love you to come along.

N-Vision clients are very welcome to attend.
