It’s always enjoyable to show people around our sight loss charity facilities in Blackpool, and talk about the work we do to provide free low vision help on the Fylde Coast.
So, we were delighted when Blackpool MP Chris Webb popped in for a tour and presentation.
Mr Webb was impressed with our services, especially the sight loss awareness training we provide for local organisations. He is hoping to put his entire team through the low-cost training for improved accessibility and responsiveness.
When Mr Webb visited, there was a very lively group of RNIB Scotland visitors in our weekly Thursday Social Club for people with low vision. So, the MP certainly got to see (and hear) how much fun people with sight impairments have when they party!
