Close-up magic, cake and flower-power; just some of the highlights of a party to celebrate and thank our amazing volunteers.
There were 65 of our team of volunteers at the thank you event, and we all had a sensational time.
Chefs from the Princess Alexandra Home served up delicious afternoon teas – which ‘disappeared’ quickly. That was followed by an outstanding performance by Jason Rea Magic, the UK’s leading close-up magician.
Jason left everyone amazed and in awe, and we can’t thank him enough for supporting this event.
Gifts of mini flower vases and some amazing free-raffle prizes were distributed. That included lovely items from Beaverbrooks the Jewellers, a long-term supporter of our Fylde Coast sight loss charity (including providing volunteers presenters for Talking News).
Our volunteers deserve the best, as they really are the best at helping this charity to transform the lives of thousands of local people with sight impairments 🩵
